Bright 29 is a lovingly restored 1930’s cottage situated on Bright’s famous Delany Avenue.

Located just over three hours north of Melbourne, you will come to think of Bright 29 as your home away from home, a place to discover the beauty of the Alpine Valley and a place to spend time with your friends and family.

The beauty of this Hampton’s inspired cottage is the balance of classic furnishings alongside heritage foundations.

Think beautiful solid timber furniture and natural wooden floors, set against bright light walls and plantation shutters that open to traditional lead light windows. Not forgetting the exquisite accessories thrown in for good measure.  – This is indeed a beautiful country hideaway.

The house features a centrally located kitchen; fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it great for longer stays or for those wanting to cook up a storm after venturing to the market in search for our amazing local produce.

With plenty of space to enjoy time together or time apart the two lounge rooms offer wood heaters, wall mounted TV’s, DVD players and large couches to relax and sink into, the perfect place to unwind, especially on a cold Winter’s day.


Bed time:
The light-filled master bedroom overlooking the garden, offers a plush queen bed, wall mounted TV, premium amenities and luxury linen as well as a large ensuite.

Bedroom two provides an additional queen bed, bedroom three two sets of bunk beds, all of which also offer premium amenities and luxury linen.  Please note, the top bunks are not suitable for adults so we recommend a maximum of 6 adults


With a large secure backyard for the kids to play in, guests can enjoy moments on the rear deck overlooking the lovely private back garden. The deck has a comfortable lounge as well as outdoor dining setting for four which is a perfect way to enjoy time outdoors.

The front veranda offers two settings for four people to sit and enjoy the beautiful outlook of Bright’s famous tree lined Delany Avenue, making for an ideal way to enjoy an afternoon wine or refreshment while watching the world go by.


For the kids:
Amongst the games, books and toys we also offer the use of a porta cot (linen not included), and a high chair.


Bright 29 is not suitable for pets and has a strict non-smoking policy.
